Polizzi and her fiancé, LaValle, 25, named the baby Lorenzo Dominic. LaValle explained how the couple came up with the Italian name, saying that he was inspired by the name of a childhood friend in his hometown.

"We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo," s LaValle, told People. "She loved it."

The middle name Dominic is inspired by Polizzi's uncle who passed away. "I did it for my dad," she told People.

MTV, the television company behind Polizzi's "Jersey Shore" fame shared one of the photos that will be included in the magazine spread.

"We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy! We look forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie," MTV said in a statement.

Polizzi's life has changed quite a bit since her early "Jersey Shore" days where the pint-sized guido was known for drinking and having a good time.

"When I got pregnant, everything changed," Polizzi told People. "The partying is long gone. I'm a new person."

Polizzi and JWoww, had their own spinoff of the show called "Snooki & JWoww," in which the two guidettes lived with each other and documented their adventures in Jersey City.

A very pregnant Polizzi will also appear on the final season of the "Jersey Shore," premiering Oct. 4.

In the issue of People Magazine, which this newsstands on Friday, Polizzi will open up about her post-baby weight loss, her wedding plans and her life as a first time mom.
