TV series nowadays are up to date with what's going on real time and the hit procedural TV series "NCIS" is also on the list of shows that's going to celebrate the Holidays in one of their episodes. Next week's episode, the cast of CBS' show will investigate a mysterious case in their special Christmas-themed episode. Read on for more spoilers.

The upcoming episode is the series' tenth episode for its fourteenth season and is titled "The Tie That Binds". The synopsis, via Spoiler TV, reads: "After the NCIS team tracks evidence from the murder of a Navy captain to Ducky's deceased mother, Ducky looks back and questions a pivotal life choice he made 37 years ago. Also, the team exchanges holiday gifts, and Gibbs spends Christmas dinner with Fornell."

It's going to be an exciting episode as viewers will get to delve in deeper to Ducky a.k.a Dr. Donald Mallard's story. After handling the case of a deceased Navy Captain, it was discovered that the dead man's body has a piece of paper tucked in his pockets with Ducky's address written on it. There might be a connection between the two and the team will research more about it. Flashbacks of Ducky's past will also be shown in the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, Fornell is back after getting shot by Trent Kort. According to an article by the Ecumenical News, Fornell was shot in the chest and was in a coma for a long time. Fortunately, he was able to recover and wake up from his coma.
