After acquiring an injury, fans of Jeremy Lin are wondering about when he would come back to the court. New reports reveal that the Brooklyn Nets point guard is now showing signs that he will return to action soon. But when would that be?

To recall, Lin suffered a hamstring injury last Nov. 2 which prevented him from playing. But more than a month after the incident, there isn't any news yet about the date of his return. While healing from his injuries, Lin has been seen on the sidelines of the game to help his team.

According to Nets, Lin's condition will be re-evaluated after two weeks but until now there isn't any timetable yet for his comeback. As of now, the point guard is progressing and would return very soon as revealed by Nets general manager Sean Marks.

“Jeremy is one of the most competitive people I’ve ever seen, I don’t think he’ll mind me saying this, but he said, ‘I’m used to proving people wrong. It’s what I’ve done my whole life, so I’m going to prove people wrong with this injury.’ And I said, ‘look let’s just take your time,’" Marks said according to International Business Times.

But a ray of hope about Lin's return sparked the internet when Nets insider Bryan Fonseca posted on Twitter that Lin is going through shooting drills. He added that they are taking a cautious approach and that Lin is not yet practicing fully. For fans of the basketball star, this is good news.

It isn't just the fans of Lin who wanted him back on the game. Even his teammates are looking forward to his return especially that they are currently at 5-15 and are the bottom of the eastern conference for the second time in a row.

Jeremy Lin has played for six different teams since he joined the basketball league in 2010. He currently has a three-year contract of US$38 million (AU$51 million) with the Nets this offseason.
