Final Fantasy fans all over the world are on cloud nine with the recent release of Final Fantasy XV after the ten years of development limbo. Many gamers now experience Square Enix's epic RPG adventure by playing the characters of Noctis and his crew while saving the land of Lucis from an evil empire that is hell bent on conquering it.

Based on the many reviews ever since the game was released, Final Fantasy XV has been highly rated by its users. Gamespot reports that Square Enix has shipped 5 million copies of the game and marking it as the fastest start in the history of the franchise. While it definitely deserves all the praise it's been getting, it is still worth pointing out that Final Fantasy XV is not a very approachable game.

For longtime Final Fantasy fans, even the earlier games of the series had always struggled when trying to decipher the game. There should have no problem grasping the basics of FF XV, but there are plenty of other things for someone to get the most out of this latest adventure.

The developers were kind enough to include a tutorial when you load up the game for the first time. The game will then ask the player whether to learn combat or discover the lore of Eos. When opting for the basic elements of combat in FF XV, it is recommended to take notes during the tutorial while the game's lore is a neat bonus.

Side quests have become a staple part of just about any RPG game, which helps in adding more replay value and challenge to your quest. However, allow the game's main story to progress while leveling up, as well as, acquiring items. Remember that side quests can be done anytime during the game.

The world of Lucis is brimming with threats in every corner, there are certain enemies to avoid because they can slay the player and its party with just one hit, such as the dreaded Adamantoise as reported by Polygon. Be smart by running away from enemies that are currently too strong and just target the ones feasible. Once leveled up, come back and show them who's the boss!

When unlocking nodes be sure to prioritize the abilities that grant extra AP or ability points fast. The nodes to unlock are those that will allow gaining AP while riding a Chocobo or driving a car. This will let the player bank in some free ability points while doing nothing, but riding around.
