Good news for travelers from London who are looking for both beach and city breaks in Europe! EasyJet has announced that it will add three new routes from London's Luton Airport. Along with the new routes, EasyJet has expanded its Luton network to 59 destinations.

According to London Luton Airport, there have been more than 1.3 million passengers who chose to travel through the airport last Oct. 2016. This is an 18.7 percent increase from a number of travelers compared to Oc. 2015. With its expected increase in passengers from Luton this year, this new addition is a welcome change to travelers.

"We have seen increasing passenger numbers and demand year on year at London Luton airport," EasyJet Commercial Manager Neil Slaved said. "We will continue to invest and develop Luton as an important London airport for both business and leisure travelers. The three new routes on sale today further bolster our summer destination on offer to customers in the region", he further added.

The routes expand to new flights to Marseille, Nantes, and Valencia. EasyJet is set to start these flights starting February 2017. This popular trio of leisure destination will provide travelers wider options for their European holidays. Tickets are on sale now, and can be booked via EuroJet website and app. Also, one-way fares on these flights will start £28.49.

With these new routes, EasyJet is expected to fly an estimated 133,000 passengers a year from Luton Airport. The new routes cover four flights a week to Marseille and Nantes, and three flights a week to Valencia.

Marseille, aside from being a tourist destination, is also an important business area. It has recently reached an increase in business demand because of its light manufacturing and tech economy innovation through biotechnology and multimedia. Quite similarly, ports in Valencia handles 20 percent of Spain's exports, which is also the largest in the Western Mediterranean region.
