"Grey's Anatomy" star Caterina Scorsone is officially a mother of two. The actress recently welcomed her second child, a baby girl named Paloma Michaela Giles, with husband Rob Giles. The couple shared the happy news with their fans on Instagram on Election Day and at the same time, showing her support for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

"I'm with her. Introducing Paloma Michaela Giles. The future is female," the 35-year-old actress said. The photo's caption shows the newest addition to their family, wearing an "I Voted" sticker. She was congratulated on Twitter by show runner Shona Rhimes: "She got here in time to (fingers crossed) see history!"

Moreover, the actress, who showed off her baby bump with a figure-hugging long-sleeved black collared dress, confirmed the news in August to Entertainment Tonight. 'I am!,' said the star, who added that she and her hubby are 'very, very excited.' "It'll be challenging. It's going to happen somewhere during the shooting season," she said. "But Shondaland is the best place for that to happen." However, when asked if she knew if she was having a boy or a girl, she chose not to reveal the baby's sex. "We're kind of not [saying]," she said at the time.

As for "Grey's Anatomy", it did not incorporate Scorsone's real-life pregnancy into the show, but a recent episode in season 13 showed her character, Dr. Amelia Shepherd, going through a pregnancy scare. In the show, she is married to Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd). Daily Mail said that the actress married husband Rob in her home country of Toronto in June 2009. The couple's first child was named Eliza, whom they welcomed in July 2012. Meanwhile, Scorsone is not the only "Grey's Anatomy" star welcoming a new bundle of joy. Her co-star, Camilla Luddington, broke the news in October that she and her longtime beau, actor Matt Alan, were expecting their first child in 2017.
