Gigi Hadid throws a major shade at One Direction saying she's not a fan of their songs but would rather listen to Zayn Malik's solo album. Gigi has an unwavering support for her beau Zayn Malik on his solo career after leaving his group One Direction. The couple has been officially dating since last year and has take a few steps to advance their relationship. The two have reportedly move in together and decided to stay in Los Angeles.

Daily Mail UK reports, the 21 year old model admitted on Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday that she wasn't much of a pop music fan and suggested she couldn't name one of the chart-topping boy band's songs. She added " I grew up in a household where my stepdad was a classical musical producer - Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban - that was the music I was into. I think we can all name a One Direction song that we like. Or maybe not. I love Zayn Malik solo a lot more!"

Early last year a shocking departure of the 22 year old singer from the chart topping boy band left fans distraught. He announced that he has signed another recording company the RCA Records for his solo career. Saying that the reason behind leaving the band was hating their "generic sound" and he didn't have a room for creativity and experimenting new sounds.

Etonline sources say she gushed about Malik's solo career, saying, "I think that the more that he's on his own, the more he's finding the soul in music and what's making him really happy to sing and genuinely makes him want to be on stage." The couple have been together since February 2016. Hadid also starred in his steamy music video "Pillowtalk" in January. We'll see how this two will last!
