Make the most of the holiday break and strive to meet your personal goals, and for a moment forget about the corporate areas. You can also place a picture of your "motivation" to inspire you everyday before your break.

2. Make time to socialize

Even while you're in a plane, bus or train, make use of that opportunity to talk to people. Be a friend to strangers. This will ease your stress and shift your thinking into something more relational than crowding your mind with tensions. Make use of that travelling time to sleep and dream about the good things that this season will give you. Do not define yourself by work alone; there are other people that can help you along the way. Oh, there are Christmas parties and reunions that are waiting for you so better prettify yourself, stress will just ruin your vacation and your face too.

3. Send your gifts in advance

Bringing gifts with you on a trip will just pile up to your stress especially for air travellers. Ship your gifts in advance to avoid possible overweight baggage or worst, your gift will be unboxed for checking. But if you really want to give your present during Christmas Eve celebration, opt for gift certificate, jewelries or cash instead, it's easier to pack.

4. Be merry this season

According to William Shakespeare, "Small cheer and great welcome makes a merry feast." Being happy is not that easy when you are stressed out but remember the four words, "You can do this!" This season is the time to contemplate and to thank the Lord for all your blessings, remember that your work is a blessing too. Share the joy of Christmas and travel far from distress, that's the key to de-stress.
