Model Robyn Lawley is more than just a gorgeous woman. She's a role model to women everywhere as she proves that having a normal, healthy body is in fashion. Lawley, a plus-size model, is now the face of UK lingerie brand Boux Avenue.

The 23-year-old Australian model is the new representative of the brand, at size 16. Boux Avenue's previous model, size 10 Ola Jordan, represented the brand for over a year.

Lawley models the company's autumn lingerie line and her status as a plus-sized model fits well with the brand. Their bras come in a wide range of sizes from 30A all the way up to 40H and their bottoms are made for sizes 8 to 20, so women of all shapes and sizes can also feel sexy in Boux Avenue's delicates.

Boux Avenue isn't the only gig Lawley has had. The curvaceous brunette beauty has had a successful career so far as she graced the cover of French Elle, French Vogue and Australian Vogue. Her healthy looking body has served as inspiration to women for the past few years.

However Lawley wasn't always so confident. She  rose from a past full of body image issuers and weight struggles. The 6 ft 2 in model spent much of her teenage years dealing with eating disorders.

"I stumbled across pro-anorexia websites and scoured them for tips. I began starving myself and making myself sick after meals," Lawley told Fabulous Magazine in 2011, according to the Daily Mail.

Lawley's family didn't know how severe her problem was, as she tried to hide it. "My mum Janne was concerned but she had no idea how serious the problem was. Plus, I became an expert at lying."

Lawley was able to move past her issues and she learned to love her curves as previous plus-sized models like Crystal Renn sent a message that being a bit curvy isn't a bad thing.

Now Lawley is trying to set a good example for women everywhere, especially young girls who may have self-esteem issues. She is an advocate for healthy body image and even has her own food blog called Robyn Lawley Eats.

She doesn't consider herself to be 'plus-size.' Instead, she finds her body to be normal

"I'm a normal size. I wish we could all be known as models, rather than 'plus-size,'" she told The Australian.

Lawley's mission to promote healthy body image is part of the reason she signed on with Boux Avenue.

"I am delighted to be chosen as the face and body of Boux Avenue lingerie,' says Lawley, as quoted by The Daily Mail. "The brand is striving to promote a healthy body image and their size range reflects this. They are making beautiful and exquisite lingerie accessible to every woman."
