"The Walking Dead" has shocked the fans on its season 7 premiere episode. The season 6 cliffhanger left everyone wondering who the show's new antagonist Negan kills, and people were left wishing it is not Glenn since fans who have read the comics know it's Glenn. But then, they also knew that the TV show, particularly in deaths, does not follow what happened in the comics.

With every "The Walking Dead" fan keeping their fingers crossed as Negan chose whom he would kill hoping it's not their favorite character especially Glenn, Negan pointed his bat Lucile at Abraham and crushed his skull. Glenn's fans were relieved. But when Daryl stood up and punched Negan in the face, everyone felt afraid that he would also kill him. But no. It does not work that way, according to Negan. So he swung his bat onto Glenn's skull instead. Right after the show, everyone have been posting about Glenn's dead and most just could not get over it.

But the question is this: Is Daryl Dixon responsible for Glenn's death?

According to Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus has been receiving one-finger salutes from fans after the season 7 premiere when Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays the role of Negan said on Talking Dead, "If it weren't for Daryl. Glenn would still be alive."

Steven Yeun who plays Glenn said no. He said that if there is only one person who will blame Daryl for Glenn's death, it would be Daryl himself. "I think that's enough for him. Even if it's not real or even if it's not accurate or fair, I think he would shoulder that type of burden. It'll be interesting to see what happens with that and I'm sure Norman will crush it."

"It was really terrible to see what it looked like, but it was also so striking. They did such a great job. It helped me be there. That's the coolest part is the whole team at KNB were able to let me be in a place where I could physically see the thing that's happened to Glenn and apply that to the moment," Yeun added when he was asked about how he dies in the show, left eye popping out while looking at Maggie, telling her that he will find her.

"The Walking Dead"  shows every Sundays on FOX.
