Producers of the TV series "Sherlock" teased the show's fans with giving them a hint about the Season 4's first few episodes at the Comic Con in July.

According to Observer Culture, the producers of the series teased the fans with giving out three key words that will encrypt the show's first three episode titles: "Thatcher," "Smith," and "Sherrinford."

With the UK show finally concluded production for the "Sherlock" fourth season, BBC have finally released the encrypted title of the first two episodes on September 26.

As both BBC One and the official "Sherlock" Twitter page posted, season 4 episode 1 is entitles "The Six Thatchers," and "The Lying Detective," will be the title of the season's second episode, according to International Business Times. However, though the producers gave the fans three keywords to decipher, they kept the third episode's title a secret so as to leave the fans on a cliffhanger.

The first episode, which has the same title as the blog posted by Dr John Watson's (Martin Freeman) in December, is about a murdered art student who created six pottery figures of Margaret Thatcher. If the two will be of the same case, then the episode will be 'disappointingly simple' as Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) described it.

It is also expected that the first episode may be based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 1904 "Sherlock Holmes" short story "The Six Napoleons," which is about a criminal destroying Napoleon busts.

The second episode, on the other hand, might also be based on "The Dying Detective" by Doyle in 1913 where Sherlock feigned suffering from a fatal illness to force a murderer to confess to his crime.

The third and last episode of the fourth season is still a big mystery for the "Sherlock" fans, which means that they would have to wait until the show comes back on January next year.

The show's co-creator Mark Gatiss stated that they have been giving out "blindingly obvious" clues to fans but they kept on missing them.
