Jim Carrey is facing another controversy relating to his late girlfriend, Cathriona White. The actor is also being denounced of passing on three Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) to White.

According to a report on iTechPost, Mark Burton, the estranged husband, claimed that Carrey gave White three STDs (Herpes 1, Herpes 2 and Gonorrhea.) Furthermore, Burton said that these STDs were huge factors of the suicide of his ex-wife.

In the midst of all the accusations to the actor, a letter has been made public, stating the despair of White on acquiring the STDs from Carrey.

"I am 27 years old and all that was left of me was a shell and a damaged one at that. Picking myself back up emotionally and mentally is one thing, people have bad experience and break-ups, it's hard but with time they move on, meet someone new, start over. Add in disease. How does someone move on and meet someone new? I am damaged. I am discusting (sic) When I shower I feel sick. Getting turned on...what's that? Certainly not something that happens (to) me any more. I will always be damaged goods and have a stigma attached, so I have to accept something I was always afraid of. Being alone. Being abandoned and alone."

"Meanwhile Jim Carrey defended himself against the allegations. In the report released by Toronto Sun, the actor's lawyer Marty Singer said, "This is a desperate, bogus claim made by the 'husband' of the sham marriage. My client will not pay money to end this opportunist's transparent shakedown lawsuit, and this malicious case will be dismissed."

"Mr. Carrey has suffered a great deal in the last year with the suicide of the woman he dearly loved, and it is outrageous that he should be subjected to this predatory lawsuit," he added.

Jim Carrey released a testimony stating "This is the way a 'husband' honors the memory of his 'wife? The real disease here is greed, shameful greed!"
