Suicide Bomber Blows Up - A seemingly innocent female had entered the police station in Istanbul to report a missing wallet. However, minutes after getting the attention of the cops in the station, the woman then detonated bombs strapped to her body. She had killed one policeman while severely injuring another.

"She spoke in English, entered (the police station) on the pretext that she had lost her wallet," says Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin to CTV News about the suicide bomber blowing up.

Prior to the Tuesday attack which took the life of one policeman, a week ago in Istanbul another bomber had appeared in Istanbul. The man had been subdued by police after he threw grenades and open fired at police officers in offices near the prime minister.

The Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front (DKHP-C) had taken responsibility for the Thursday attack. Such group is a terrorist organization by the US, Turkey, and European Union. The group has yet to release a statement whether the Tuesday attack involving the female suicide bomber blowing up was affiliated with their group as well.

DKHP-C has known to have carried out suicide bombing attacks of which involved one incident in the year 2013. A security guard from the US embassy had fallen victim to the suicide bomber blows up. In spite of the bombing reports, this is not the first for the group as they have been more active in the year 1970.

Since the Turkish government had opened its peace talks in 2012, suicide bombing has been rare. Yet, the latest on the suicide bomber blows up at Istanbul police station is sure to change the times. DKHP-C hopes to overthrow the government. A Marxist-Leninist state is what the group aims to set up.
