Officer Shot In Bronx - Apparently, another case of cops getting attacked have been on the rise. The latest incident involves two NYPD cops responding to a robbery call. Both officers were shot but thankfully their injuries posed no threat.

The officers shot in Bronx is just another case of vendetta against police officers. This after the countless cases of cops gunning down unarmed civilians and the New York Million March protest. With regards to the case of the NYPD cops shot in Bronx, reports state both were responding to a robbery.

One of the officer shot in Bronx was hit in the lower back and arm. He is set to undergo surgery by Tuesday morning. The other officer shot was hit in the arm and chest, but is reportedly in a stable condition.

Names of both officers shot in Bronx have yet to be released to the press. The identities of both cops have been withheld until their family members have been notified. Regarding the latest act of cops getting shot on the job, New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio released a statement.

"This is another indicator of the dangers our officers face in the line of duty," shares de Blasio in a report by CNN, adding, "Thank God, these officers will recover. These officers did something that as extraordinarily brave and they did it as part of their commitment. They came off their shift. Upon hearing this call, they went back out in search of these criminals."

The men who had officers shot in Bronx is still at large. However, one man who had gone into a hospital reporting injuries of a gunshot wound to the neck is under investigation. It is yet unclear whether or not he has been linked to the crime.

With regards to the officers shot in Bronx, a reward of $10,000 is given to anyone who can give information on the shooter.
