While the most-anticipated fifth season of "Game of Thrones" has not premiered, HBO organized a creative contest that expands the fans imagination of Westeros.

HBO has made an announcement to gather creative "Game of Thrones" devotees into a collaborative official compilation of originative content, which features the series, Media Bistro reported.

The cable television network has planned to compile fan-made content for the "Game of Thrones" Compendium book. The book is intended to present original works of artists, musicians, writers, craftsmen, designers, critics and food fanatics.

The submitted content will be made available in six categories, namely, art, music, costume, food, craft, and analysis. A "Compendium" site has been launched to display the submitted works, aiming to give visitors a "fully searchable, fluid gallery experience."

HBO has also assembled a group of experts to examine the submissions and to carefully select a number of them to be featured in the printed edition of the compendium. The book has been scheduled for publication in December the following year.

The panel of experts has been chosen based on their fields of expertise. The Council includes Gerald Brom writer and illustrator of Brom Art; Arthur Chu, culture blogger of The Daily Beast; Tom Colicchio, celebrity chef and judge on Bravo's "Top Chef"; Nina Garcia, creative director of Marie Claire magazine and judge on Lifetime's "Project Runway"; Kevin Hatch, writer and moderator of Reddit r/gameofthrones; Greg Hildebrandt, fantasy and science fiction artist; Laura Hudson, entertainment and culture writer for Wired magazine and others; and Zack Luye, author at "Game of Thrones" fan site WatchersontheWall.com. These people have been considered fans of the series, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Meanwhile, Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa in "Game of Thrones," has spilled some details about her character's growth in the upcoming season. She mentioned that there will be "big changes" for Sansa in season 5. She also noted a "very intense" event that will soon happen to her character, International Business Times reported.

"There was one scene that I did do which was super, super traumatic, and I love doing those scenes," Turner said. "It was just really kind of horrible for everyone to be on set and watch."

Fans speculated that the fifth season may show Sansa murdering Littlefinger.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is expected to follow the fourth and fifth novels of the book series entitled "A Song of Ice and Fire" and "A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons." The two book series is speculated to run simultaneously but presenting different sets of characters.

The season is expected to premiere in April 2015.
