Joseph Gordon-Levitt's AMA on Reddit was a very interesting and entertaining all the same. For one thing, not only did the 33-year-old former child star gave answers to the very serious questions, he was also a good sport when it comes to responding to the ridiculous ones.

At the start of Joseph Gordon Levitt's AMA on Reddit, he gave a brief introduction on why he's doing Ask Me Anything.

"Hey guys - Glad to be doing this again. What do you wanna know? Oh, "is there something I'm selling?" you ask. Why yes, yes there is! I'm here on behalf of our Season 1 of HITRECORD ON TV. It's being released as a box set tomorrow!" he wrote before announcing that the box set is both hitting stores and ready for online purchase starting Tuesday.

What's really good about this AMAs is the fact that actors like Gordon-Levitt can speak candidly on whatever it is they are working on.

Last year, it was already revealed that the "Don Jon" actor is to star and direct Neil Gaiman's Sandman big-screen adaptation.

Hence, it was not surprising that one of the Reddit users asked JGL about any updates on the Vertigo project, reports Comingsoon.net.

"Been doing a lot of work with David Goyer and Jack Thorne, working on the screenplay. We've been doing our meetings at the DC office, which is a frickin rad place to work. Also just had a great conversation last week with David and Mr. Gaiman. Neil has been extremely big hearted with me, and he's the one I want to please most," the "3rd Rock from the Sun" alum responded.

Interestingly, Goyer, who is producing the film, also gushed about Sandman.

"I hesitate to definitively say when it might go before the cameras, but the one thing different between other iterations and ours is that Neil Gaiman has been in the room with us and is a vital part of the team," Goyer told Deadline. "We have a draft Warners is very happy with and we're moving forward, knock on wood."

Meanwhile, the questions kept rolling during Joseph Gordon-Levitt's AMA on Reddit, and he touched a couple more interesting topics, such as wanting to appear in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," his thoughts on "Star Wars" VIII and IX, as well as whether he is going to be in the upcoming "Batman" movie or not.

"Rian has become one of my dearest friends, so I'm biased, but I feel enormously privileged to have worked on the first movie of a filmmaker who, I feel, is as great as any of our generation. PS - Episode 8 & 9 are going to be... I can't even say how good I think they're gonna be," he wrote of Rian Johnson, who is set to direct the sequels to "The Force Awakens," SlashFilm has learned.

Then, "The Dark Knight Rises" star was also asked if he is interested in doing Broadway or a musical film, and the actor chose the latter.

"I really really really want to do a movie musical. Trying to figure it out. Find the right project with the right people. In the meantime, HITRECORD ON TV definitely tides me over, because we do lots of musical numbers on the show," he responded.

Hit Record on TV is an variety show created and hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt himself, who also directs countless of artists from his global online collaborative production company, HitRecord.

Finally, JGL also took his time to answer some of the ridiculous yet entertaining questions from his fans.

When one fan asked, "My brother swears he once saw you riding your bike on the Lower East Side, singing at the top of your lungs. Is this true? If yes, what song was it?" The actor responded, "Yes, and it was probably mama sé mama sa mama ku sa."

Another fan wrote, "Hey Joseph, I hear you're playing Edward Snowden next month. What have you been doing to prepare for the part besides reading all of my emails?" To which Gordon-Levitt replied, "Activating your webcam to watch you while you write your emails."

Then, there's the funny question one fan wrote which read, "Are you going to patent a series of vibrators under the name 'Joseph Golden Rabbit?'" And, as usual, Joseph played along with the question, by posting his own query, "What are the special functionalities."
