Airstrikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) kills almost 100 people while injuring about 120 more individuals on Tuesday.

The number of deaths in the war-strike country continues to increase as the government led by the U.S. force fights against the group of extremists. ISIS militants have already taken over a large part of the country particularly the city of Raqqa. According to the earlier reports, the group has already gained control over the city and that they made it as the capital of their so-called state.

The extremist group has already established a number of training centers in the city for their growing number of fighters after seizing a number of military bases from the government. They also made the city as their depot for their weapons.

According to the BBC News, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights earlier said that there were 53 individuals killed in the recent airstrikes against ISIS; however, it was also said that it could further increase as many people are dying from their wounds. In related news, only one hospital reportedly functions and caters the need of those injured individuals. Other facilities in the area are closed and nobody is seen walking in the streets after the attack.

The airstrikes carried out by the Syrian warplanes launched 10 airstrikes which reportedly targets the location of the public market and of the city's al-Hani Mosque. With the ongoing activities of the ISIS militants, the bombings launched by the government and their allied forces also continue. With that, many citizens of the country are also being affected and are forced to leave their homes for refuge.

As the airstrikes aim to target the ISIS militants never stop, many citizens in Syria also need assistance. According to a report, U.N. humanitarian chief Valerie Amos said that more than 12 million Syrians are in need of help as the condition in the country worsens.
