Despite the Black Friday sales 2014 deals advertised in the United States, a recent survey done by Nerd Wallet claims that the deals aren't much of a bargain after all. By the time holidays are over, US citizens are stuck with a huge amount of debt from the deals bought after Thanksgiving.

"When you walk into a store on Black Friday, you can't have the mindset that everything you see will be a good deal," says Matthew Ong. "Sure, there are a handful of impressive Black Friday deals this year, but many big-name retailers are essentially serving up the same products at the same prices year after year. That's not exciting for consumers."

For those looking out for Black Friday sales 2014, be warned about the "bargains" some deals promise. Best to be on the lookout for the best deals after the Thanksgiving and Holiday hype is over.
