Missing UVA student search continues, and now the FBI is also involved with the case. The name of the missing UVA student is Hannah Elizabeth Graham, and she was reported missing to the Charlottesville Police Department around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday after friends realized nobody had seen or heard from her since early Saturday morning, according to multiple reports.

The Charlottesville Police Department reports that the missing UVA student was last seen via surveillance video outside McGrady's Irish Pub in Charlottesville at 12:46 a.m. on Saturday.

The 18-year-old was reportedly headed east in the 900 block of Grady Avenue, and the search for the missing UVA student now includes that area.

According to a statement on the University of Virginia's website said that last time Graham was seen, she had been wearing a black crop top with mesh cut outs.

Because of the missing UVA student, at least 30 people from the Virginia State Police, the Albemarle County Sheriff's Office and the Charlottesville Police Department have come together to conduct a physical search in the general area off of Main Street in downtown Charlottesville, majority of which includes alleys, wooded areas and train tracks running through downtown, reports WDBJ7.

According to the Daily Mail, the Charlottesville Police released images of the missing UVA student Monday night. The images were taken via a surveillance camera in her apartment block from around 9pm. Other images of Graham were from late Friday as the missing UVA student attended a party with a male friend located a few blocks from her home.

On Tuesday, the authorities also asked local residents to check their properties, including in bushes and underneath tarps for any clues.

On the same day the FBI joined the search for the missing UVA student.

The Albemarle County Sheriff's Office also reportedly assisted with the "search and rescue effort."

Captain Guy Williams of the Albemarle County Sheriff's Office said, "Last night we expanded our search about 25 to 30 blocks Right now we are focusing on another five to six block area which is outside of the zone we looked at last night."

Virginia police also changed their focus to the Irish bar the missing UVA student was last seen after the FBI assisted in the search.

According to the Daily Mail, when Graham was near the pub, that was 35 minutes before her last frantic text to friends telling them she was lost trying to join them at a party on campus.

So what makes this search of the missing UVA student especially crucial?

Apparently, news of Hannah Graham missing comes as authorities admitted that she is the fourth young woman to have gone missing in five years.

In September 2010, Samantha Ann Clarke, 19, disappeared after leaving her townhouse in Orange County. In November 2012, DaShad Laquinn Smith, also 19, disappeared in Charlottesville. Today, almost two years later, she remains missing.

A 20-year-old student from Virginia Tech named Morgan Harrington also disappeared from the University of Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena during a rock concert in October 2009. According to reports, her remains were found three months later in a rural area, but no arrests have been made after that.

According to police, Graham apparently has had a lot to drink the day she went missing, which they believe played into why she disappeared.

Charlottesville Police Captain Gary Pleasants told WRIC, "She had been drinking quite a bit. She told him that she was leaving and going home. He asked if he could walk her home and she said no she was fine. He stayed and she left."

1:20 a.m. Saturday was the last anyone has heard from the now missing UVA student. The texts she sent to friends reportedly told them she was lost in an area familiar to the police.

After 1:30 a.m., Graham's phone was either ran out of batteries or had been switched off. She was not heard from since.

Hannah Graham is a second-year student and a member of UVA's ski team, reports wdbj7.

University of Virginia President Teresa Sullivan issued a statement saying how "deeply concerned about the disappearance" she was.

Graham's family also issued a statement on Tuesday. They even pointed out how Hannah was a conscientious young woman who would not vanish without contacting family or friends.

Pleasants said that as of the current moment, there is no reason to suspect foul play.
