Bear on golf course video showing an adorable baby bear dancing has captured the attention, or probably the hearts of thousands of viewers. CBC News reports that the bear on golf course pole dancing efforts were caught on a phone camera by one of the players at Fairmont Hot Springs in Canada before the bear ran off with their golf ball.

Once again, a bear invades the internet. The online video of a baby bear on golf course twirling around the pin hole at the Mountainside Golf Course in British Columbia has attracted almost 600,000 viewers in the five days since YouTube user Andi Dzilum uploaded it.

Apparently, bears are not uncommon in those parts of the country, and it may just be one of the reasons that the golf course attracts many players. According to the New York Daily News, the wildlife in that mountainous region is parcel of the golf course's charm.

The baby bear on golf course video happened at the 15th hole at the Mountainside Golf Course, located in the Kootenay Rockies in British Columbia, Canada.

Before unexpected encounter of the bear on golf course twirling, the group of Canadian golfers were simply playing the sport. At first, the playful cub wasn't meddling with the pole yet. According to the National Post, the golfers initially found the cubs just lying around the verdant field.

There were three cubs, two of which were motionless. One cub however was an exception. Unbeknownst to the cub, his energy would lead him to becoming a video sensation. The adorable animal began playing around on the flag on the 15th hole.

It appeared that the cub was overwhelmed at getting the flag that he couldn't help staying long at the area trying to get the flag. At one point, the cub held the pole and appeared to be dancing about in the bear on golf course video.

"This is like the circus. Look at him!," said the man who captured the video of the bear on golf course.

After several minutes of having a try at the flag, the cub eventually stole the golf ball that was supposed to be used by the golfers.

One golfer said, "This is the greatest thing in the world."

"You are hilarious, buddy," said another.

According to Peter Smith, executive vice president of the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort that hosts the course, the incident of the bear on golf course twirling is part of the resort's charm - being a wildlife haven apart from their resort services.

Smith told the Daily News, "We're in the mountains and it's their country."

33-year-old Andi Dzilums, who shot the video of the bear on golf course, is a resident from Calgary. He reportedly said he was a former employee of the course so he had not been afraid, nor surprised at the bear's appearance.

According to the NY Daily News, the group eventually decided to leave their golf balls on the green.

Dzilums said, "We all just took pars and continued on to the next hole. We decided there was no point in getting close to a bear for a golf ball."

According to Smith, the family of the dancing bear on golf course is familiar. Their family includes a mother and three cubs and he has seen the brood having regular trips on the golf course grounds in the past six weeks.

Smith said some of the damage done by the little cubs includes taking out a pin from the hole and breaking it and knocking over a ball washing station.

Bears can still be dangerous if people do not take caution, therefore the course assigned staff on site to make sure that the golfers do not get between the animals. There has been no such incident.

Bear on golf course is not the only common wildlife found in the area. According to the NY Daily News, there are other courses featuring other wildlife such as a stream full of salmon. Golfers see the fish spawn and other animals feed on them. Smith said, "It's an added value to the golfers - particularly if they're not playing particularly well."
