Marriott's Moxy Hotels were introduced today in Milan, Italy, offering a modern twist to the hospitality industry.

Its concept revolves around being a boutique hotel whose rates can be easily afforded by any budget-wise traveler. In short, it presents an economical hotel experience but with an elegant touch to it.

According to Marriott's global brand officer, each element of the Moxy Hotels has been carefully thought of so as to reflect the lifestyles and expectations of every modern traveler belonging to the Gen X and Y.

Starting off with its lobby, the Moxy Milan comes trendy in design while the guest rooms are all considered tech-savvy. The airy lobby area offers a worry-free check-in process for any guest.

Its interiors are made out of refined material topped off with organic lines. It is shades with a nice combination of shapes and colors accentuated with modern furniture designs.

It is the first ever Moxy hotel that renders the modern and price-friendly hotel design to the European region.

There are already eleven Moxy hotels due to open all over Europe by 2016 as emphasized by the Marriott International President and Managing Director in Europe.

The first Moxy hotel in Milan is just the start of the worldwide launch of the other branches in other locations like UK, Norway, Scotland and a lot more.

The Moxy Milan is composed of 162 guest rooms and each constructed with sound reducing walls. Each room accommodation also has a 42" LCD flat screen television set, comfortable armchairs with calming fabrics, and free WiFi connection.

Other perks offered by the Moxy Hotels include a 24/7 café, Marriott Rewards loyalty program and it is located strategically near the Milan Malpensa Airport terminal 2.
