Katie Holmes and daughter Suri just moved into their new home in California, but it seems like the two of them are already facing a stressful situation as their pet went missing just this Sunday.

The former wife of Tom Cruise has recently purchased a property in California as she finally decided to leave New York City. To mark the move, she and her daughter also tried to expand their family by adopting a Chihuahua from a rescue center who they named it Honey; however, the newest member of their family reportedly went missing just this weekend. Reports say that the dog slipped out of the gate when they took it to a friend's house in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

Numerous fliers have been already posted to alert the neighborhood for the missing dog. Katie and Suri are even willing to issue a $1,000 worth of reward for the person who could bring their dog back with them into their new home. No further news has been yet revealed regarding their lost dog.

On the other hand, the decision of the actress to leave New York City was believed to be a good step for her career and for her daughter who is already attending school. Katie and Suri's new home which is worth $3.7 million located in Calabasas, California is said to be a super closed deal that anyone who violates the confidentiality of it will be penalized with $1,000. "The Giver" star previously lived in a three-bedroom apartment in New York since her divorce from Cruise.

Now that the actress and her eight year-old daughter have already made a great move, will her fans expect her to have more projects especially now that she's near Hollywood? The change of residence for Suri will definitely mean new friends, but will it also mean new love for Katie?
