Bodies Florida Coast were found on Sunday floating along with debris off Hollywood Beach. According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the four bodies were discovered off the Atlantic coast of Florida. However, no boat or wreckage was seen in the vicinity where the bodies Florida Coast were found.

As of the current moment, officials are still trying to determine the identities of the four bodies Florida Coast.

The discovery of the bodies has triggered a search for more possible people in distress, reports CBS News.

According to CBS Miami, crews from the U.S. Coast Guard were alerted by two people who were boating in the Atlantic Ocean near Hollywood, Florida, between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

Reuters reports that they called the Coast Guard around 10 a.m. about finding two men floating in the water 20 nautical miles east of Hollywood Beach.

Crews went to the area in response and a search followed. Not long after the two bodies were spotted, the body of a woman was later recovered a short distance away. Soon, another victim, a male, was recovered as well, said the Coast Guard. These two additional bodies were found 15-20 miles off shore.

According to officials, all four bodies Florida Coast have been recovered in bad condition. This reportedly indicates that they had been in the water for quite some time.

None of the bodies was wearing a life jacket at the time of recovery.

According to Reuters, the four bodies Florida Coast were found in a place commonly referred to as a trashline, or a layer of debris, floating atop the ocean.

Coast Guard spokesman Mark Barney said, "We won't even have an inkling on identity until the medical examiner completes an investigation."

The Miami Herald reports that the remains were taken to the Broward County medical examiner's office. Meanwhile, the Broward Sheriff's Office has also joined in the investigation finding the men's identities, as well as the time and cause of their death, reports The Toronto Sun.

The crews' air and sea search over 60 miles was reportedly called off at Sunday sundown.

The Coast Guard said aerial teams also spotted what seemed like three other bodies on Sunday, though the discovery cannot until they could be recovered, said Barney.

He also said that aerial crews worked through the night to look for a boat, bodies or people in distress.

Meanwhile, The Toronto Sun reports that on Monday, U.S. authorities tried to determine what happened to the four found bodies Florida Coast, especially as there could be possible additional victims while the search continues by air and sea.

Authorities are also trying to link the source of the trash into the bodies' identities.

Chief Petty Officer Ryan Doss said, "We have not been able to locate a vessel of any type out there so we're unsure of where these individuals came from or how long they'd been out there."

Bodies Florida Coast came as shock and mystery as until now their identities are still unknown. It remains unclear whether the victims came from the United States, Cuba or another Caribbean country.
