"Real Housewives of New York City" cast Ramona Singer, has announced on her Twitter account Thursday, that she is ending her 20-year marriage to husband Mario Singer, according to Hollywood Life.

"I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work," Ramona shared the news to her 424,000 Twitter followers. "I am excited for the new chapter in my life."

The reality star's decision came in the midst of the pair's struggle, following reports that Mario cheated on his wife, and the pair is said to have even separated in January with Ramona filing for divorce.

Despite their long standing marital problems the business woman assured E! News that she is totally "fine" post-breakup. "I'm excited about this new chapter in my life. I'm great," she said. "Everything is great."

However, during the Part Two of "RHONY's" reunion special, Ramona seemed to have flipped out when Andy Cohen touched on the status of her marriage.

"Everyone in my family is doing well," she claimed. "Mario and I are together...Let's go to someone else."

When Cohen attempted to dig on the issue for more information, she snapped, "So, how's your love life? Who are you going to have sex with tonight? Tell me." To which the host responded with, "I'll tell you when I go on a reality show."

"You're on a reality show," Ramona contended. "I'm actually not, honey," Andy corrected.

Since the affair rumors began, the mother of one has insisted to Hollywood Life that they were "not true." But Perez Hilton recently reported that her husband Mario just spent the weekend with his mistress Kasey Dexter in New York City.

Ramona Singer shares daughter, Avery, with Mario. After she made her separation announcement via Twitter, Bravotv tweeted support to their star saying: " Sending love and support to the lovely @ramonasinger! Stay strong!"
