Former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow is once again training for an NFL comeback, and many believe he's bulking up to facilitate his transition from quarterback to a full-fledged tight end.

Tebow, who was last seen in the NFL as a member of the New England Patriots offseason practice team, is reportedly training rigorously to sharpen his much-maligned throwing mechanics in Texas and work out his body in Arizona.

In an interview with KSAZ-TV, he admitted that he's uncertain about his future as a professional football player, but he's leaving everything to God.

"One of my favorite quotes is, 'I don't know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future,'" Tebow said in the interview. "And that it gives you peace to just continue to work and go after what your heart desires; and when you do that you don't have any regrets, and I think that's the best way to live life."

Tebow, who has multi-year contract as a college football analyst for SEC Network, has been having a hard time cracking into an NFL team official roster because many scouts and analysts believe his quarterbacking skills is way below league standards.

However, there are suggestions to him about making a transition from a signal-caller to a tight-end, as they think Tebow's broad body and rushing ability would make him a solid weapon in any team's passing game.

Tebow repeatedly dismissed such idea, but there are others who believed that the former Florida Gators star is now contemplating on shifting position, because of the muscle mass he added as of late.

"I feel great," Tebow told Phoenix-area TV station KSAZ. "I feel the strongest, healthiest, throwing the best I ever have. I'm just really excited about the improvement."

Setting aside the throwing thing, Tebow really looks a lot healthier and more muscular than before. Former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner suggested that Tebow must try to find an ideal situation for him to prolong his NFL career, and that could be playing as a big tight end.

"If that's what your dream is and you want to keep pursuing it, find somewhere else to play. A key for me was to get reps," Warner said. "I needed to see things that I couldn't see standing on the sidelines. That's where guys like Tim Tebow are: We know he's a work in progress, but the only way to get that progress is to find situations and to play."

Whether he's now shifting to tight end or not, a Tebow comeback will always be a big news for NFL fans.
