A U.S. drone reportedly strike several missiles in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region leaving 11 dead militants on Saturday.

Residents of the area said that four missiles have been fired in the compound which took place in the village of Datta Khel, North Waziristan just few miles from the Afghan border at around 2 a.m. the 11 slain men were reportedly members of the group Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, according to Associated Press. The said group has tried to overthrow the Pakistani government to implement its law and end the cooperation with the Americans.

The U.S. government reportedly holds its action to strike drones in the areas in Pakistan infiltrated by militants as the peace process exists between the two nations. A peaceful coexistence was supposed to continue, but the militant group just can't proceed. The tension between the government and the rebel group reportedly rise again after militants attacked the country's biggest airport in Karachi on June 8.

The attack forced the government to execute a military action in North Waziristan. According to the report, the U.S. drone strikes program potentially causes a massive tension between Washington and Islamabad as the Pakistani government sees it as a violation to the country's power to rule. The said program has been activated after the offensive attack executed by militants in the said airport.

What happened on Saturday is said to be not the first time that U.S. drone strike in Pakistan. According to previous reports, missiles were also fired on Wednesday were it killed 15 militants in the area of North Waziristan. Now that violence is again awaken, more and more number of deaths were tallied both coming from the militant group and from the government authorities. According to the recent report, the military group says that it has already killed almost 500 militants while they have lost 26 soldiers.
