Japan Typhoon Neoguri update this Friday tells of Japan's state since the massive typhoon hit the country's coasts this week. The Japan Typhoon Neoguri update reported the state of the country after Neoguri swept the eastern coast and headed towards Tokyo Thursday and made landfall on the main island of Kyushu.

The typhoon has already weakened to a tropical storm, but according to the Japan Typhoon Neoguri update report, the typhoon left devastating torrential rains over a wide area of Japan. This triggered landslides and floods which caused fatalities.

The on the Japan Typhoon Neoguri update report heavy rains brought by the typhoon already caused three deaths and extensive damages. In addition, thousands were forced to leave their homes.

On Thursday evening, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the Japan Typhoon Neoguri update is that the typhoon is already moving towards Japan's main island of Honshu.

By early Friday morning, the typhoon may move to the Tokyo area before moving from the eastern coast.

Though some parts of eastern Japan was not directly hit by the storm, some areas have experienced heavy rainfall which caused heavy landslides and floods.

This Japan Typhoon Neoguri update also includes reports how the fatalities occurred. On Wednesday, one massive mudslide which crushed houses also killed a 12-year-old boy in the Nagano prefecture on Honshu after rocks and boulders struck his home.

 In the neighboring area of the Niigata prefecture, the meteorological agency described the area to have experience its heaviest downpour in 50 years.

In northeastern Fukushima prefecture, also on Wednesday, a Japan Typhoon Neoguri update reports a 83-year-old man dead after falling into a flooded river. A 77-year-old man in Ehime prefecture on the southwestern island of Shikoku was also found dead in a canal.

Landslide warnings were already issued to to Yamagata, Aomori, Nagano and Gifu prefectures by the meteorological agency due to extreme precipitation.

Another Japan Typhoon Neoguri update is that Kyushu did not experience any significant damage as Neoguri hit the area early Thursday.

Meanwhile, Okinawa reportedly felt the brunt of the storm. Neoguri struck the island with torrential downpours and violent winds. Several footages were shown Wednesday of Okinawa partially covered with rainwater as Neoguri smashed trees and overturned vehicles. A Japan Typhoon Neoguri update from the Wall Street Journal reports that most injury reports came after the storm hit Okinawa.

The BBC reports that according to the U.S. Joint Typhoon Warning Center, Neoguri was initially a "super-typhoon," with winds of more than 150 mph. But now the weather authority has reportedly downgraded it to a tropical storm as it's already gusting at up to 126 kph (78 mph).

Japan Typhoon Neoguri update also reports on the cancellations of hundreds of flights and trains in the country since more wet weather will be expected.
