Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce has been going on for quite a while now. From Ellen's womanizing, to friendship with Sofia Vergara, to Portia's drinking problems, jealousy and anorexia, the list of reasons for Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce never seems to end.

Well a recent report doing its rounds on the internet seems to be truly hinting on a possible Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce. This report however, involves no "other" woman, but a house, the couple's recently bougth Brody House.

Ellen DeGeneres just bought the extremely expensive architectural jewel in a Los Angeles neighborhood known as Holmby Hills in December, reports Wonderwall. Though seemingly a far reason for Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce, according to the website, it is just reason enough.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Ellen and Portia de Rossi had been living in the house for only a few months, but Ellen apparently a hard-to-resist offer from Napster founder Sean Parker. At $40 million, Sean Parker even upped the value of the recently lived in house is for $55 million. Because of this, Ellen reportedly just had to sell the house immediately to Parker.

That's $15 million more than her original selling price. However, many are in suspicion as to why she is selling the house in the first place and if this may be a reason for Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce. The comedienne sure got a good deal for it, but she does not $15 million more with the career she has in Hollywood.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry said that Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce might just be looming overhead with the house sold.

According to People magazine, as quoted from a source, the source reportedly said that Portia was "overwhelmed" by the renovation process of the $39.8 million home also known as the Brody House.

Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce might be apparent from the pressure over the house as the source said, 'At times Portia felt overwhelmed at all that goes into redoing a house and moving to another, no matter how lucrative it may be. She felt like she was doing everything herself and needed some downtime.'

Technically, Ellen was able to get $15 million more for a house she has not spent money on renovations, so that may be a good reason for selling the house. However, the house being sold coincidentally came after reports of Portia's possible or soon-to-come rehab visit.

In an interview with the N.Y.Times, Ellen then said that she was sure that she and Portia would never leave their dream home. The 56-year-old said, 'I think there's nowhere to go from here. It's the best house I've ever lived in.'

The issue poses a serious threat to the union of the couple and Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce may soon follow.

In Touch reported that Portia has already spent 30 days in May in a rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., to deal with substance abuse issues. Though the two has not yet confirmed the report's validity, according to People, a source has acknowledged it.

People's source said, 'They've had their ups and downs. Portia has been very outspoken about previous issues, like her eating disorder, and she's good at seeking help when she needs to. They've worked out difficulties in the past, and no doubt they're trying to work out any problems right now.'

According to other reports, it was relationship issues which led to Portia's breakdown and trip to the rehab facility.

It's because of these reasons that Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce rumors have escalated and the Brody House sold may not really be for the money. If Ellen and Portia really intended to live there, their "dream house", nobody was stopping them, except of course them. As the saying goes, "If there's a will, there's a way," and it is apparent that there was no will there. Ellen is probably worth more than that house, and money clearly isn't the issue.

Portia De Rossi Ellen DeGeneres divorce may only be public interest since the two are celebrities. But even so, any type of divorce is not pretty, and nobody wants that kind of pain for everyone.
