Montreal is a beautiful city in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is the largest city in the province and the second largest in Canada, a romantic place with beautiful tourist attractions. And, with the enticing French language that is spoken there, Montreal could be the best vacation of the summer.

Here is a list of some things you can do while visiting Montreal.

Food

The fat kid inside all travelers must not be ignored! Trying different foods may not be everyone's "thing," but now may be the time to eat some vegan food - or learn to dislike anything gluten free!

The vegan trend has taken over the streets of montreal. And, although some of us may disagree with the lifestyle (because, who would give up bacon?!), it might just be time to join in on the different options.

Montreal Museums

The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is the largest museum in Montreal. There are three pavilions that make up this museum, and so art lovers are sure to completely fall in love.

With just about 40,000 pieces of art work to examine, guests are also given the opportunity to explore the Tropical Rainforest Greenhouse. This greenhouse showcases the forest's upper stratum and shows a plant that is colorful in foliage and exotic in shape!

Notre-Dame Basilica

Another famous Montreal landmark, the Notre-Dame Basilica was built in 1829. Its massive cathedral ceilings and stained-glass windows tend to amaze all visitors!

You do not necessarily have to be religious to enjoy a tour of this beautiful Basilica. Traveling can be more of a learning experience just as much as a fun one.

And with a grand attraction such as the Basilica, tourists can experience stunning examples of fine sacred architecture, so why not make just do it?

Visit Concert Halls

Metropolis is a very popular concert venue and is said to have hosted some well-known artists such as David Bowie, Cold Play, Ben Harper, and the White Stripes.

Not only is this venue fun and exciting, it carries interesting history.
