Oprah is bailing sexy felon Jeremy Meeks out of jail. At least that's what the Internet is saying. However Oprah is doing no such thing. No matter how sexy he may be, Jeremy Meeks is still in jai and the story is nothing more than a hoax.

A story by Empire News claims that talk show host Oprah Winfrey posted bail for Jeremy Meeks, a felon whose mug shot went viral on social media due to his good looks. The article reads, "Apparently all the attention Meeks has gotten since being arrested has only helped him, as billionaire actress and media mogul Oprah Winfrey has reportedly agreed to pay Meeks' $900,000 bail, with the intent of giving him a job as a talk show host on her OWN Network.

"Jeremy is so beautiful. He's really one of the most gorgeous men I've ever seen." Said Winfrey. "I saw his picture while I was checking my Twitter, and my heart skipped a beat. He is practically the definition of the word 'sexy'."

Meeks has said he will gladly take the offer of hosting his own program, as it has always been his dream to get out of arms dealing and move into the entertainment world. He is reportedly working with Winfrey, her producers, and a group of writers to determine the best kind of show for his 'style.'

"I am not a doctor, so I guess I can't really be Dr. Phil or anything." Said Meeks. "What I've suggested is a milder version of a Jerry Springer, where my guests are mostly cons and criminals like me, and I can maybe help them get or stay on the straight-and-narrow."

Winfrey may not be looking just to have a new face for her network, though. Possible troubled waters with Winfrey and longtime partner Stedman Graham mean that it's always possible that Winfrey is looking towards a future with a younger, more handsome beau."

In case you didn't get that the article is nothing more than satire, if you scroll down to the end of the page, it is written by A. Michael Smith who "I was a member of the first graduating class at Harvard University in 1642. I was cryogenically frozen and brought back to life in 1981. I can speak gibberish in 18 different languages and often carry on conversations with myself in all 18."

If that didn't tip you off, the disclaimer for Empire News clearly states the site is made for satire and hoaxes. It reads, "Empire News is a satirical and entertainment website. We only use invented names in all our stories, except in cases when public figures are being satirized. Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental."

Oprah is not busting Jeremy Meeks out of jail or giving him a TV show. However not everyone got that. The hoax is going viral as many are sharing the link and discussing it on Twitter. Some examples of Twitter users who fell for the hoax include:

"#Oprah bailing the "mugshot hottie" (clearly subjective) out of jail & giving him a job is just anotherrr reason she's highly #overrated"

"Yeah #JeremyMeeks may be astoundingly good looking but he's a criminal and should be punished. Oprah is a dick for bailing him out"

"I'm actually happy that Oprah is bailing out this felon. Maybe all he needed was a new start."
